About
Louise Greer is a Seattle-based writer focused on capturing a dance's fleeting moments and highlighting the work of artists both locally and nationwide. She is passionate about the creative artistry of dance writing and strives to give dance a life beyond the stage in her work.

Louise grew up in Seattle, where she began her dance training in the Preparatory Dance Program at Cornish College of the Arts, and fell deeply in love with the magic of dance and music. A loyal fan of Pacific Northwest Ballet since age four, she is continuously inspired by the remarkable work that they bring to the city of Seattle, and is honored to get to capture a glimmer in written word.

She has received press invitations to New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Olympic Ballet Theatre, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and is on the press list at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Boston Ballet.

Louise holds a BA in Creative Writing, and a minor in Dance, which come together to shape this passion project that is Seattle Ballet.
